About
the Poem/Explanation/Summary/Interpretation
The Speaker of the Poem is Corona. Corona addresses different
people around the globe. It knows the present world's crisis, so it requests
people to stop crying over human, social, economical, and physical loss.
The speaker convinces the audience that it is the result
of people's indiscrimination against nature. There is no need to regret the
loss of people because they invited him to the world. People are cursing him
but they are unaware of the loss caused by wars.
The speaker satirizes human beings as ‘the crown of
creation’. People are pretending to a king of the world. Human beings are
rational creatures but they are doing irrational behavior by destroying Mother
Nature. People are not thinking about the future generation.
It is the
right time to revise our development policies to protect nature. It is not
possible to stop pandemic like corona unless we protect supreme nature.
He blames
people for not understanding the earth as the home for all creatures. Human
beings are only one creature amidst trillions. The world leaders are developing
the world just for them. They never think about other inhabitants on mother
earth. So, the time has come to think about all.
The time has come to
think about equal well beings of all. People have no right to throw other
creatures toward darkness.
